This ambition can lead to great things, or it can make Slytherins seem pushy and power-hungry. When it comes to the traits of a Slytherin, I think that there are a pretty even combination of good and less good traits. For example, I don’t think it’s wrong to be a goal-oriented person.

And Harry’s son actually ends up being sorted into Slytherin and he wasn’t a bad wizard. Therefore, I don’t think your house dictates what you turn out to be – I think your own personal choices do.
